Abstract: A flat panel television (TV) and a method of mirroring content from a mobile device onto the flat panel TV are provided. The method includes receiving one or more encoded audio-video packets from the mobile device that accesses the flat panel TV via a universal serial bus (USB) connection, decoding the one or more encoded audio-video packets and rendering the content, and displaying the content on the flat panel TV.

Abstract: A display apparatus and a method of sharing digital content between external devices by using a display apparatus are provided. The method includes: displaying a user interface including a plurality of tabs which respectively correspond to a plurality of external devices connected to the display apparatus; detecting a user operation to select a first external device and a second external device, from among the plurality of external devices, between which a copy operation of the digital content is to be performed; and copying the digital content from the first external device to the second external device, in response to the detection of the user operation.
