  • Publication number: 20240369547
Abstract: A system for the sensing of pathogens includes a sensor, a processor, and a memory. The sensor is configured to generate a signal indicating a conductivity of the sensor. The memory includes instructions stored thereon, which, when executed by the processor, cause the system to receive the signal from the sensor, determine a change in a conductivity of the sensor based on the signal, and determine the presence or the absence of a pathogen based on the determined change in conductivity.

  • Patent number: 11630007
Abstract: Pressure/strain piezoresistive are described that include a poled piezoelectric polymer such as PVDF or P(VDF-TrFE) and graphene. The poled piezoelectric polymer and the graphene are electronically coupled to form a heterojunction and provide an ultra-high sensitivity pressure/strain sensor. The sensors can be carried on a flexible supporting substrate such as PDMS or PET to exhibit high flexibility. The materials of formation can be biocompatible and the sensors can be wearable or implantable.
