  • Patent number: 11856024
Abstract: In an approach for prohibiting voice attacks, a processor, in response to receiving a voice input from a source, determines, using a predetermined filter including an allowlist, that the voice input does not match any corresponding entry of the predetermined filter. A processor routes the voice input to an adversarial pipeline for processing. A processor identifies an adversarial example of the voice input using a predetermined connectionist temporal classification method. A processor generates a configurable distorted adversarial example using the adversarial example identified. In response to a user reply, a processor injects the configurable distorted adversarial example as noise into a voice stream of the user reply in real-time to alter the voice stream. A processor routes the altered voice stream to the source.

  • Patent number: 10419617
Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure relate to interactive voicemail tagging of messages and responses to provide improved navigation and tracking of information requested/contained in voicemail messages and responses. Users may tag portions of the recorded message/response to indicate presence of a request for information, an answer providing requested information, etc. and navigate to particular portions of the recorded message/response using the tags. Accordingly, in one embodiment a computer-implemented method for interactive voicemail message and response tagging and processing includes: receiving a prompt having associated therewith one or more prompt tags; receiving a response corresponding to the prompt, the response having associated therewith one or more response tags; and processing the response to determine either or both of a content of the response and a context of the response. Corresponding systems and computer program products are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 9729704
Abstract: An audio segment recorded by an individual is stored in a computational device controlled by an entity, where the computational device is coupled to a telephony device having a speaker and a microphone that are configurable to be enabled or disabled by the computational device. An electronic communication is initiated to the individual via the telephony device when the speaker and the microphone are both enabled. The stored audio segment is retrieved from an audio recording database that stores a plurality of audio segments of a plurality of individuals and played to the individual to authenticate the entity, in response to the initiating of the electronic communication to the individual.

  • Publication number: 20150269150
Abstract: Service locations can be recommended based upon a user electronic device request specifying parameters that include a service type, an available time value and location information. Based upon the parameters, queries are sent to a service database to retrieve profile information about service locations that satisfy the service type and to a travel database to retrieve travel time information for the service locations that satisfy the service type. Time estimates for obtaining services at each of the service locations are generated by applying a service predicting algorithm using the profile information about service locations and the travel time information for the service locations. The service locations that satisfy the service type are filter as a function of the available time value and the time estimates. The filtering results are provided to the user device.
