  • Publication number: 20230321358
Abstract: A switch assembly comprising a chassis supporting a PCBA which has a distal surface comprising at least a first, a second, and a third electrical contacts, a ring having a ratchet profile, and a first arm and a second arm. The chassis moves axially relative to the ring during a first switch operation mode. The ring rotates relative to the chassis during a second switch operation mode. An axial movement of the chassis towards the ring closes an electrical connection between the first electrical contact and the first arm. Further, the ratchet profile of the ring is located facing proximally towards the distal surface of the PCBA such that an actuator guided on the ratchet profile elastically deforms the second arm thereby alternately opening and closing an electrical connection between the second electrical contact and the third electrical contact via the second arm.

  • Patent number: 10765809
Abstract: A reloadable auto injector has a needle insertion driver to be re-activated upon reloading. A syringe is movably positioned in a housing between a first position and a second position. A plunger rod is locked to a plunger rod tube by a deflectable locking member. A syringe driver applies a force to the syringe to move the syringe together with plunger rod tube, plunger rod and plunger rod driver from the first position to the second position. In the second position, the locking member is unlocked and releases the plunger rod to thereby activate the plunger rod driver to advance the plunger rod in the syringe for delivering of medicament. A reload handle is connected to the syringe assembly so that user operation of the reload handle retracts the syringe to the first position and simultaneously reloads the syringe driver for delivering a further dose of medicament.

  • Patent number: 10716899
Abstract: An auto injector having sequential control of needle insertion and dose injection is disclosed. A syringe with a needle is movably positioned in a housing between a first position in which the needle is accommodated inside the housing and a second position in which the needle protrudes outside the housing. A plunger rod tube has at least one locking member configured to normally lock a plunger rod to the plunger rod tube. A syringe driver applies a force to the syringe to move the syringe together with plunger rod tube, plunger rod and plunger rod driver from the first position to the second position. In the second position, the locking member is unlocked and releases the plunger rod to thereby activate the plunger rod driver to advance the plunger rod in the syringe for delivering of at least one dose of medicament.

  • Publication number: 20190336685
Abstract: A reloadable auto injector wherein a syringe assembly is movably positioned between a first position in which the needle is accommodated inside a housing and a second position in which the needle protrudes outside the housing. The assembly comprises a syringe, a plunger rod and a plunger rod driver configured to apply a force to the plunger rod to advance the plunger rod in the syringe for delivering at least one dose of medicament. A syringe driver is configured to apply a force to the assembly thereby moving the assembly from the first position to the second position. A reload handle may be connected to the assembly so that user operation of the reload handle retracts the assembly to the first position and simultaneously reload the syringe driver to thereby ready the auto injector for delivering a further dose of medicament. The plunger rod driver is not re-activated.

  • Publication number: 20170348487
Abstract: A reloadable auto injector for epinephrine injection is provided. The reloadable auto injector has a separate needle insertion and medicine injection drivers (1600) wherein needle insertion driver (1200) is configured to be re-activated upon reloading. A syringe is movably positioned in a housing between a first position in which the needle is accommodated inside the housing and a second position in which the needle protrudes outside the housing. A plunger rod (1500) is normally locked to a plunger rod tube (1100) by at least one deflectable locking member (1110). A syringe driver (1200) applies a force to the syringe to move the syringe together with plunger rod tube, plunger rod and plunger rod driver from the first position to the second position. In the second position, the locking member (1110) is unlocked and releases the plunger rod to thereby activate the plunger rod driver to advance the plunger rod in the syringe for delivering of medicament.
