The impact mechanism includes a camshaft, a first mass, a second mass, an anvil, and a spring. The camshaft receives the torque output from the drive unit. The first mass is mounted to the camshaft and is configured to translate along the camshaft. The second mass is mounted to the camshaft. The anvil is configured to receive an impact torque from the first mass. The anvil includes an output portion that is configured to apply the torque from the first mass to a workpiece.
