    Abstract: An absorbent article includes front, back, and crotch sections, and further includes a reusable outer cover including a garment portion and an absorbent insert including a pair of insert leg elastic members. In each of the back and front sections, a leg elastics width is the maximum transversal width over the insert leg elastic members. At least one of the front and back sections includes a set of one or more attachment areas for attaching a front or back edge portion of the insert to the outer cover. In each attachment area, a surface area of the inward or outward facing side of the insert is detachably attached to a surface area of the outer cover via at least one surface fastening material. A transversal fastening width, being the transversal width spanned by the attachment areas, is no less than the leg elastics width.
