Publication number: 20250075016Abstract: The present disclosure describes ethylene/?-olefin copolymer products with a density from 0.865 to 0.905 g/cm3 characterized as having unique rheological fingerprint during their transition from a solid state into a fully molten state. The ethylene/?-olefin copolymer products comprise a first high-density fraction and optionally a second high-density fraction. wherein said first and said optional second high-density fractions have distinct chemical compositions from that of the overall ethylene/?-olefin copolymer products. The first high-density fraction further has a weight-average molecular weight Mw,1HD, wherein Mw,1HD and the weight average molecular weight of the overall ethylene/?-olefin copolymer product Mw satisfy the inequality of Mw,1HD/Mw>2.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 13, 2022Publication date: March 6, 2025Applicant: NOVA CHEMICALS (INTERNATIONAL) S.A.Inventors: Soheil SADEGHI, Abolfazl NOORJAHAN, Stephen BROWN, Marcia PIRES FORTES FERREIRA, Mehrnaz RAHIMI, Jun WANG

Publication number: 20250078000Abstract: Various examples are directed to systems and methods for operating an autonomous vehicle. A matching cycle may be executed to match respective job requests of a plurality of job requests to at least one respective vehicle of a plurality of vehicles comprising the autonomous vehicle. A set of job requests may be selected from job requests that were matched to the autonomous vehicle during the matching cycle. Verification data may be received indicating that the autonomous vehicle is suitable for the set of job requests. A first offer message may be sent to a first user device associated with a first user making a first job request of the set of job requests. A reply message responsive to the first offer message may be received from the first user device. An instruction may be sent to the autonomous vehicle to begin executing a selected job from the set of job requests. The identity of the selected job may be based at least in part on the first reply message.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 30, 2024Publication date: March 6, 2025Inventors: Prateek Jain, Kevin G. Publication number: 20250051492Abstract: Pellets of ethylene/a-olefin copolymer are devolatilized using nitrogen in a devolatilization bin via a multistep process. Said multistep process, among other things, comprises providing nitrogen gas to the devolatilization bin at a first nitrogen inlet temperature (I) less than VICAT softening temperature of the ethylene/?-olefin copolymer for a first period of time t1 to form a new peak melting peak (II) greater than (I) and smaller than a highest peak melting temperature Tm of the ethylene/?-olefin copolymer. The devolatilization process is continued by raising and holding the nitrogen gas temperature provided to said devolatilization bin at a second nitrogen inlet temperature (III) for a second period of time t2 subsequent to the first period of time t1, wherein (III) is greater than (I) and less than (II).Type: ApplicationFiled: December 16, 2022Publication date: February 13, 2025Applicant: NOVA CHEMICALS (INTERNATIONAL) S.A.Inventors: Abolfazl NOORJAHAN, Soheil SADEGHI, Marcia PIRES FORTES FERREIRA, Mehrnaz RAHIMI

Publication number: 20230205659Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system for leveraging telemetry data representing usage of a component installed on a group of sampled computing devices to confidently infer the quality of a user experience and/or the behavior of the component (e.g., an operating system) on a larger group of unsampled computing devices. The system is configured to use a propensity score matching approach to identify a sampled computing device that best represents an unsampled computing device using configuration data that is collected from both the sampled and unsampled computing devices. The quality of the user experience and/or the behavior of the component may be captured by a metric of interest (e.g., a QoS value). Accordingly, the system is configured to use the known metric of interest, determined from the telemetry data collected for the sampled computing device, to determine or predict the metric of interest for the unsampled computing device.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 27, 2021Publication date: June 29, 2023Inventors: Connie YANG, Eamon Guthrie Cosgrove MILLMAN, Xiaoyu CHAI, Soheil SADEGHI, Omari CARTER-THORPE, Igor Borisov PEEV, Steven Marcel Elza WILSSENS, Tomas Aleksas MERECKIS, Alexander S.
