  • Publication number: 20130174926
Abstract: A manifold containing a set of hydraulically operated valves, interposed between a water supply line and an existing faucet and actuated by one or more pilot valves mounted on the sink cabinet door frame or in toe kick area of a cabinet, will provide instantaneous control of water flow from an existing sink faucet. The controlling pilot valves are easily mounted on the cabinet door frame or in the form of pressure sensitive valves mounted to the toe kick area of the cabinet. Slight knee pressure on the door or a gentle toe pressure on these controlling pilot valves opens the valves manifold and water flow through the faucet.

  • Patent number: 6219859
Abstract: An automatic control system for a faucet of a sink includes a valve manifold adapted to be disposed beneath the sink. The valve manifold is adapted to communicate with at least one of a hot water supply line and a cold water supply line and at least one of a hot water faucet connecting line and a cold water faucet connecting line for delivering water to the faucet of the sink. The valve manifold includes at least one electrically actuatable valve for controlling the flow of water to at least one of the hot water faucet connecting line and the cold water faucet connecting line and a diversionary valve adapted to allow water in the valve manifold to bypass the at least one electrically actuatable valve and flow to at least one of the hot water faucet connecting line and the cold water faucet connecting line.

  • Patent number: 6047417
Abstract: A block containing a set of solenoid valves interposed between a water supply line and an existing faucet and activated by switches mounted on the sink cabinet door frame will provide instantaneous or continuous control of water flow from an existing sink faucet. The controlling switches for these solenoid valves are easily mounted on the cabinet door frame or in the form of padded pressure sensitive switches mounted directly on the surface of the cabinet doors. Slight knee pressure on the door or padded switches instantly opens the solenoid valves to activate water flow.

  • Patent number: 5659901
Abstract: A personal hygiene fixture is provided as a retrofit unit designed to mount directly onto a toilet tank inlet, being interposed in the fresh water supply line where it attaches to the tank. The appliance has a diversion valve which diverts water from the supply line to a tube leading to an irrigation nozzle mounted to the underside of the toilet seat. The knob controlling the irrigation is part of the valve, and is thus rigidly mounted to the tank fill valve so that it is easy to install and operate. A second diversion valve with a flexible line leading to a douche wand can also be incorporated in the valve unit to provide a dual-function hygiene appliance.

  • Patent number: 5136933
Abstract: A rotary orbital rotisserie has a rack structure for skewering chickens and other meat to be barbecued or roasted, with the individual spits of the rotisserie being not only rotational about their own axes, but orbital around the main rotisserie axis as well, so that the chickens execute a planetary motion. The spits can be maintained non-orbital and merely rotated in another mode of operation.
