  • Patent number: 6539178
Abstract: In a camera, a setting system sets a photographic factor representing a proper exposure, and a measurement system measures an actual photographic factor, corresponding to the set factor during a photographing operation. A determination system determines whether there is a coincidence between the set factor and the actual factor, and a recording system records the actual factor on a photographed frame of a photographic film when the determination system determines that there is the coincidence between the set factor and the actual factor. The recording system is constituted such that an error message is recorded on the frame of the film when it is determined that there is a non-coincidence between the set factor and the actual factor.

  • Patent number: 5930535
Abstract: Disclosed is an exposure control device for a camera. The exposure control device has a magnetic plunger including a permanent magnet and a plunger coil. The plunger coil generates, when energized, a magnetic field which weakens a magnetic force of the permanent magnet. A resistor is connected in parallel with the plunger coil. Resistance of the resistor is substantially equal to a DC resistance of the plunger coil.

  • Patent number: 5897229
Abstract: A camera has a lens mount for mounting an interchangeable lens unit. The camera further includes a casing, a chassis provided in the interior of the casing, a button provided to the casing, a lock mechanism (actuated in response to the button) which locks the lens unit in a state the lens unit is mounted on the lens mount, a sensor unit which detects whether the lock mechanism locks the lens unit or not. The sensor unit is disposed in a space provided to the chassis. The camera is provided with an actuator moved in response to the lock mechanism, which penetrates a panel of the chassis so that the actuator can actuate the sensor unit.

  • Patent number: 5839007
Abstract: An internal indicator apparatus of a finder for a camera includes an optical finder system which includes an eyepiece system. An indicator indicates photographing data which can be viewed through the eyepiece system. The indicator is located in the vicinity of an image forming plane defined by the optical finder system. A position adjusting mechanism moves the indicator along a predetermined direction so that an indication surface of the indicator is moved to the image forming plane, or an optically equivalent position thereof.
