Abstract: A two-handed game controller has a single dual analog/digital x-y directional pad mounted on the top which can perform either analog or digital functions. A mode switch on the controller allows an operator to select either analog or digital control settings. The controller also has a button grouping located within a concave recess. Each button within the recess has a downward slanting top maintained at an elevation a specified distance from the controller, thereby allowing for easy actuation by a gliding, rolling or sliding motion of a user's thumb or finger. The controller also has semicircular sides and 3-dimensionally tapered hand-grips, facilitating grip from virtually any size hand, from child to adult. Digital triggers are mounted on both the top and bottom of the controller and are configured to perform the same functions, allowing table-top use. Furthermore, the controller has a tripod-like structure with slip-resistant grips providing stability on a table-top surface.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for expanding a portable computer keyboard (6) to approximate a full size desktop keyboard. The device and method include a linkage assembly (8) for automatically separating first and second keyboard portions (44, 46) from each other when the display module (22) of the computer is opened into its operating configuration. The linkage assembly is further adapted to automatically move the keyboard into a collapsed position when the display module is closed into the carrying or carrying configuration. In one embodiment, the keyboard portions are pivoted away from each other to form an angle therebetween to improve user hand and wrist orientation during use of the keyboard.

Abstract: An improved, light-weight squeegee suitable for use in and around the home for cleaning and drying shower and tub enclosures, windows, and spa decks, or autos and boat decks. The squeegee is constructed without metal parts that could scratch glass, ceramic and painted surfaces or that could corrode and stain such surfaces. A cylindrical handle holds dual S-shaped blades, which extend along the handle and beyond one end of the handle to facilitate cleaning in tight spaces. The unitary blades are coextruded from thermoplastics having different hardnesses, the roots of the blades held in the slotted handle being stiff, while the extended portions of the blades used for wiping surfaces are relatively flexible. The compact size and the integral handle parallel with the blades allows the user to maneuver the squeegee efficiently in the narrow confines of glass enclosures.
