  • Publication number: 20120208448
Abstract: A content output propriety determination unit determines whether an output of the content is allowed in an information reception device based on reception statuses of radio waves from a plurality of radio stations in the information reception device and position information on the information reception device. A communication controller transmits a determination result by the content output propriety determination unit to the information reception device. A table creation unit creates a radio wave status acquisition table based on the position information on the information reception device, and the radio wave status acquisition table is used for acquiring the reception statuses of the radio waves from the radio stations. When some radio stations are receivable, the content output propriety determination unit allows output of contents distributed from the information distribution devices corresponding to all the radio stations included in the table.

  • Patent number: 5592449
Abstract: A disc recording/reproducing apparatus capable of controlling the record/reproduction of the apparatus or other devices connected to it, by using character information recorded in U-TOC area. A character code for controlling the apparatus or other devices is recorded in U-TOC area at the location corresponding to each track number recorded in a mini disc at each delimiter of a musical program. During the reproduction of a musical program recorded in the mini disc by the disc recording/reproducing apparatus, the character code added in correspondence with the track number is read and the reproduction operation is controlled in accordance with the character code.

  • Patent number: 5508984
Abstract: Large characters and numerals of a lapse time, a musical program title, or the like of a musical program under the performance recorded on a photomagnetic disc can be displayed, and an inadvertent erase of a musical program can be prevented. The TNO and lapse time of each musical program during the performance are displayed on a display unit as shown in FIG. 3 at (f). Under this condition, when a title key is depressed, the title for the TNO is displayed for a predetermined time period on the display unit as shown in FIG. 3 at (g). After the predetermined time period, the lapse time for the TNO is displayed as shown in FIG. 3 at (h). When an erase key is depressed during the performance of a musical program, a controller erases the disc management information and additional information for the TNO from a RAM storing U-TOC information, and renumbers other TNOs to update the contents of RAM.

  • Patent number: 5426624
Abstract: An optical disc recording/reproduction apparatus capable of simplifying the overwrite operation of an already recorded disc by designating a music program number. In recording a music program, the music program number is first entered from a ten-key. If the program number is "15", a key "1" and then a key "5" are sequentially depressed. If a record key is depressed within a predetermined time delay from the numerical key input, the start address of the record region of the disc for TNO15 is searched and a record pause state is set. When the record key is again depressed thereafter, the record pause state is released and the music program is overwritten in the record regions of the TNO15 and following regions.

  • Patent number: 5365503
Abstract: Cue and review functions are provided sufficiently for a digital recording and reproducing apparatus having a speed of reading information recorded in a recording medium faster than that of converting the read data into analog signals. A buffer memory is provided with has a capacity allowing to produce sounds for a sufficient time period. The following operations are repetitively performed during the cue or review operation.
