    Abstract: A luggage case is disclosed that includes a roller assembly that is detachably secured to a section of the luggage case, wherein a roller engages a surface to enable the luggage case to be conveniently rolled thereover. The roller assembly is mounted such that it cannot be accidentally dislodged, even when the roller abruptly contacts an obstruction such as a rut, rock or curb.
