  • Patent number: 5054667

When a person steps on the platform it will be retained in a stationary position. The V-shaped forked end will hold a boot heel securely to allow the person to withdraw their foot from the boot. When stepping on the platform, a wedge engages and forces two jaws together to grip the sides of the heel. Springs provide snap action.
