The system includes a hydrogen production unit that uses an electrolyzer to produce hydrogen from water and electricity, where the electricity is delivered via a connection to the electrical grid and/or behind the meter renewables and whereby a control unit manages the production of hydrogen based on the attributes of the renewable power, including time correlation and other factors.
