  • Publication number: 20240399946
Abstract: A vehicle having a tail lift is disclosed. The tail lift may be configured to move between a retracted position and an extended position. The tail lift may be disposed perpendicular to a vehicle cargo bed in the retracted position, and parallel to the vehicle cargo bed in the extended position. The vehicle may further include a detection unit configured to detect a placement location of a cargo on the tail lift and presence of an obstruction in proximity to the tail lift. The vehicle may additionally include a processor that may obtain inputs from the detection unit when the tail lift may be in the extended position. The processor may determine that a predefined condition may be met based on the obtained inputs. The processor may further output a notification responsive to a determination that the predefined condition may be met.

  • Publication number: 20240399830
Abstract: A refrigerated delivery vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle may include a refrigerated cargo zone configured to store a plurality of delivery packages. The refrigerated cargo zone may include an access door. The vehicle may further include a detection unit configured to detect a user movement in the refrigerated cargo zone and an access door movement when the vehicle may be traversing a delivery route or parked. The vehicle may further include a processor configured to obtain inputs from the detection unit, and determine a user inefficiency parameter based on the inputs. The processor may be further configured to compare the user inefficiency parameter with a threshold inefficiency parameter. The processor may output a notification instructing the user to reduce the user movement or the access door movement when the user inefficiency parameter may be greater than the threshold inefficiency parameter.

  • Publication number: 20240326850
Abstract: A vehicle power system generates alerts prior to discontinuance of power to upfitter loads and vehicle loads according to a user defined priority sequence such that the alerts generated prior to discontinuance of power to the upfitter loads are different than the alerts generated prior to discontinuance of power to the vehicle loads.

  • Publication number: 20240310801
Abstract: A server includes an interface configured to communicate with a vehicle and a charger, and a processor configured to responsive to receiving, from the vehicle, vehicle data indicative of an energy transfer amount from the vehicle to one or more receiving entities above a transfer threshold, impose a limitation on the charger to charge the vehicle by sending a message to the charger.

  • Publication number: 20220100193
Abstract: A system includes a computer having a processor and a memory, and the memory storing instructions executable by the processor to cause the processor to determine that a wheelchair is located within a threshold distance of a vehicle; actuate a puddle lamp to project a light projection proximate to a door of the vehicle; determine whether the wheelchair is aligned with respect to the light projection based on an image captured by a camera, wherein the image includes image data comprising a position of the wheelchair relative to the light projection; and actuate the door of the vehicle to open in response to determining that a wheelchair user is located at a designated location relative to the vehicle.
