  • Patent number: 8556071
Abstract: A package for tobacco-related articles comprises a shell including a front wall, a rear wall, two lateral walls, and a top side. A lid is adapted to close the top side of the shell when in a closed state. The lid is swivelably connected to the rear wall or one of the lateral walls at a hinge line and is swivelable about the hinge line for transfer between the closed state and an opened state. The lid comprises a top wall including a front edge, a rear edge, two lateral edges, and a bottom side and is adapted to close the top side of the shell when the lid is in its closed state. A beveled edge wall extends from at least the edge of the top wall of the lid opposite to the hinge line and fits into the shell when the lid is in its closed state.

  • Patent number: 8464867
Abstract: A package (1) for tobacco-related articles comprises an outer shell (2), a lid (4) which is adapted to close the top side of the outer shell (2) and can be swivelled about a hinge line, and an inner shell (6). The inner shell (6) accommodates a plurality of tobacco-related articles and can be shifted in the outer shell (2) from a retracted position to an advanced position, which enables access to the tobacco-related articles. A cutout (20) in the outer shell (2) exposes part of the inner shell (6) and enables transmitting a force onto the inner shell (6) for moving the inner shell (6). A connector (50) pushes the lid (4) into its opened state when the inner shell (6) is moved into its advanced position and pulls the lid (4) into its closed state when the inner shell (6) is moved into its retracted position.

  • Patent number: 6502582
Abstract: The invention relates to a filter cigarette with a tobacco strand enclosed by a cigarette paper, which has a diameter of 5-7 mm, with a smoke yield of at most 1 mg condensate, with a tobacco-side filter element having a relative retention of >90%, with a mouth-side filter element having a relative retention of <10% and with a ventilation zone running in circumferential direction in the encasing and covering paper, which is situated at a distance from the mouth-side filter end, the length of which is at least 1 mm less than that of the mouth-side cork. The nicotine/condensate ·10 strand depletion ratio is ≧1.0, the overall length of the filter lies between 25-30 mm, the diameter between 5-7 mm and the length of the mouth-side filter cork lies between 13-18 mm.
