  • Publication number: 20230135407
Abstract: An embodiment establishes a designated attribute value as a semantic criterion for grouping records in a bucket, identifies a first set of records having attribute values that satisfy the semantic criterion, and adds the first set of records to the bucket. The embodiment detects that the first set of records represent a first series of events that occurred in succession at respective times. The embodiment derives a temporal attribute value representative of a time pattern formed by the times of the first series of events and designates the temporal attribute value as a temporal criterion for grouping records in the bucket. The embodiment identifies a second set of records that represent a second series of events and satisfy the temporal criterion and adds the second set of records to the bucket based at least in part on the second set of records satisfying the temporal criterion.

  • Publication number: 20230134875
Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for recovering power from remote vehicles near a landing surface. Air turbulence from a remote vehicle near a landing surface is detected and measured. When the air turbulence exceeds a threshold, a subset of landing surface components corresponding to sections of the landing surface with attached wind power generators are determined for wind power generation from the detected air turbulence. The wind power generators of the subset of landing surface components are exposed from their protective coverings, and the subset of landing surface components are reoriented towards the source of the air turbulence, tracking the remote vehicle generating the air turbulence. Power generated by the wind power generators can be stored and used to recharge remote vehicles that land at the landing surface.

  • Patent number: 11573721
Abstract: An approach is provided for providing optimized identification of duplicate data in a networked computing environment. An aggregate feature vector is created that is specific to an attribute of the data (e.g., a field that holds specific informational content). The aggregate feature vector has a set of dimensions that each define a specific comparison function used to test for similarity between data entries in the attribute. Each dimension in the aggregate feature vector is assigned an effectiveness, and a cost is computed for each dimension. Based on these two, a subset of dimensions is selected to form an optimized feature vector. This optimized feature vector can then be used to analyze a dataset to find matching data.

  • Publication number: 20220309047
Abstract: An approach for tuning a data management system is provided. A processor retrieves one or more samples pairs of record data. A processor determines an error rate regarding the performance of a matching operation of a data management system based on the one or more sample pairs. • Patent number: 11449704
Abstract: A multilevel clustered data set for multidimensional vectors is created by defining a plurality of clusters based on each of the signed dimensions of the vectors, each dimension functioning as an axis. Vectors are assigned to each cluster by measuring cosine similarity between a vector and each axis. Sub-clusters are defined as ranges of cosine similarity values within a cluster, and each vector is assigned into the appropriate range based on their cosine similarity value with the axis of the cluster. Searching for a matching vector to a new vector is efficiently achieved in near-constant time by measuring cosine similarity for the new vector with each axis to identify the closest cluster, reusing the cosine similarity of the new vector and axis to determine which sub-cluster corresponds to the appropriate range of values, and then comparing each vector within the sub-cluster until a match is found or ruled out.
