Abstract: A recombinant vector according to an embodiment is for genome editing without inserting a replicon into the plant genome in a T0 generation plant. The recombinant vector includes a geminivirus-based replicon between the sequence of LB (left border) and sequence of RB (right border) of Ti plasmid. A method of genome editing without inserting a replicon into the plant genome in a T0 generation plant according to an embodiment includes transforming a plant cell by inserting a foreign gene to the aforementioned recombinant vector.

Abstract: A system and method provide for selecting Internet media channels. Generally speaking, the selection involves choosing target channels based on user preferences. In one example embodiment, the system and method receive a user preference relating to a data item available from at least one of a plurality of media providers, augment the user preference with at least one additional preference that is related to the user preference, and select one or more media providers from the plurality of media providers, wherein the selection is based on the frequency with which the selected media provider provides the user preference or the augmenting additional preference.

Abstract: A powdered sweetener composition for animal feed containing an intimate mixture with a substantially uniform, non-statistical sweetener/potentiator distribution that is substantially constant in all particles. The particle size of the composition is particularly from 10 to 100 &mgr;m, and has a Gaussian distribution. The composition is particularly useful for preparing feed for young animals, e.g. piglets, in which case the sweetener is a saccharine salt and the potentiator is neohesperidine dihydrochalcone (NHDC), thaumatin or glycyrrhizin.
