  • Publication number: 20230265174
Abstract: An antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof specifically binding to galectin 3-binding protein (LGALS3BP), and a use thereof, is described. The antibody or antigen-binding fragment thereof may comprise heavy chain CDRs and light chain CDRs of specific sequences. The antibody specifically binding to LGALS3BP has been found to inhibit cancer growth and metastasis in an animal model with cancer and may be effective for alleviating or treating cancer.

  • Patent number: 11484315
Abstract: A stent for anastomosis of different kinds of organs includes a main body, and at least one fixing unit provided in the main body. At least a portion of the main body is inserted into one of different kinds of organs to be anastomosed with each other, and the rest of the main body is inserted into the other of the different kinds of organs. A distance between the different kinds of organs under the anastomosis is maintained by the fixing units.

  • Publication number: 20200055951
Abstract: The present invention relates to an antibody specifically binding to a pancreatic adenocarcinoma upregulated factor (PAUF) protein and use thereof. The antibody of the present invention binds to a PAUF protein with high specificity and affinity and thereby inhibits the proliferation, migration, invasion, and in vivo growth, and thus the antibody of the present invention can be effectively used in the field of diagnosis and treatment of diseases such as cancer in which PAUF proteins are overexpressed.

  • Publication number: 20140377737
Abstract: The present invention provides a method of culturing pancreatic islet cells using a cationized atelocollagen prepared by ionization of high purity atelocollagen, a method of preparing a carrier for pancreatic islet cell transplantation using a cationized atelocollagen, and an artificial pancreas prepared using the same. According to the present invention, it is possible to increase the viability and/or glucose-dependent insulin secretion of pancreatic islet cells during culture of the cells by the use of a cationized atelocollagen or crosslinked atelocollagen scaffold obtained by ionization of high purity atelocollagen. In addition, it is possible to increase the viability and glucose-dependent insulin secretion of cultured and transplanted pancreatic islet cells by the use of a highly stable carrier for pancreatic islet cell transplantation that comprises cationized atelocollagen and alginate.
