  • Publication number: 20170120897
Abstract: A method for learning a touch point of an engine clutch of a hybrid electric vehicle including a motor connected to a transmission and an engine selectively connected to the motor through the engine clutch includes determining whether a learning condition of the touch point of the engine clutch is satisfied, releasing a transmission clutch and controlling a motor speed when the learning condition is satisfied, increasing a coupling pressure of the engine clutch when a change amount of the motor speed is less than a first predetermined value, comparing a change amount of a motor torque according to the increased coupling pressure of the engine clutch with a second predetermined value, and learning the touch point of the engine clutch when the change amount of the motor torque is greater than or equal to the second predetermined value.

  • Publication number: 20170072960
Abstract: A method for releasing creep torque control of a vehicle before a stop includes a step of when creep torque is controlled for a shift before a stop of the vehicle, creep torque control is released in consideration of a current shift gear position if an actual creep torque value controlled during a shift becomes equal to a target creep torque value.

  • Patent number: 9586578
Abstract: A method for learning a touch point of an engine clutch for a hybrid electric vehicle includes controlling a speed of an engine to have an idle speed. A fluid pipe of a clutch actuator is refilled with a working fluid by driving a driving motor in an idle control state of the engine, a speed of the driving motor is synchronized with the speed of the engine, and then the engine clutch is engaged. The engine clutch is released after the refill is performed, and the speed of the driving motor is decreased. A working fluid is applied so that the engine clutch is operated in an engagement direction by operating the clutch actuator, and a state change of the driving motor is detected. The touch point of the engine clutch is determined based on the state change of the driving motor.

  • Publication number: 20150232080
Abstract: A mode control apparatus of a hybrid vehicle is provided. The apparatus includes a first clutch that is disposed between an engine and a motor generating power and a second clutch that is disposed between the motor and a transmission. In addition, a controller is configured to execute engagement and disengagement of the first clutch and the second clutch. The controller is also configured to adjust the speed of the motor and the transmission to be synchronized by generating slip in the second clutch when a transition from an EV mode to an HEV mode is requested.
