The cross-linked self-decontaminating polymer provides the protective material with reversible swelling ability to block the porous substrate when the protective barrier is contacted by liquids.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a motion control system for a machine tool system wherein a value of a surface finish quality parameter of the motion control system is adjusted to control the surface finish of a part machined with the machine tool system. The machine tool system may include a conversational mode of operation and a NC mode of operation.

Abstract: Disclosed is a system or method of using hash functions to preserve a relationship. A relationship is anonymously preserved by storing the hash result of a relationship token that comprises a finite set of values of a plurality of objects. Specifically, an account anonymous identifier of an account can be produced by hashing a relationship token that comprises identity information of an owner of said account. A party that has enough knowledge of an account owner can independently produces said account anonymous identifier and therefore, securely communicates with a specific account without prior communication or a password. An account owner can further prove his/her ownership of an account by submitting related documents and a relationship token that comprises his/her identity information to an account system.

Abstract: In one embodiment, a circuit for generating a reference voltage between a first output and a second output, has a first follower transistor that includes a first control node, a first follower node coupled to a first output, and a first supply node, and a second follower transistor that includes a second control node, a second follower node coupled to a second output and a second supply node. A first voltage drop circuit is coupled between a circuit supply node and the second supply node. Chitosan with different molecular weight reacts with chloroactic acid give rise to carboxymethyl chitosan. After reaction of Schiff based, deoxidized and quaternized, quaternized carboxymethyl chitosan is obtained. This kind of chitosan derivative have better water-solubility and better antifungal activity, which can used in the fields of medicine and agriculture.

Abstract: Control circuitry is coupled between an error event output and a data input of a pseudorandom binary sequence (PRBS) checker. The control circuitry is configured to switch between a first operating state in which a received PRBS signal is applied to the data input of the PRBS checker and a second operating state in which an error signal is applied to the data input of the PRBS checker, responsive to detection of a designated condition of the PRBS checker. In an illustrative embodiment, the designated condition is an end-of-test condition indicating that the PRBS checker has completed a test involving the received PRBS signal.

Abstract: Computer-implemented systems and methods are provided for optimizing hydrocarbon recovery from subsurface formations, including subsurface formations having bottom water or edgewater. A system and method can be configured to receive data indicative of by-pass oil areas in the subsurface formation from reservoir simulation, identify flow barriers in the subsurface formation based on the by-pass oil areas identified by the reservoir simulation, and predict the lateral extension of the identified flow barriers in the subsurface formation. Infill horizontal wells can be placed at areas of the subsurface formation relative to the flow barriers such that production from a horizontal well in the subsurface formation optimizes hydrocarbon recovery.

Abstract: The present invention relates to low molecular weight chitosan oligosaccharides and its preparation method. Chitosan oligosaccharides were obtained under microwave irradiation assisted the electrolyte. The method of preparing chitosan oligosaccharides was described as follows: acid solvent containing electrolyte was added to chitosan. The reaction was performed at 480˜800 W for 3˜12 min. After irradiation ceased, the reaction liquid was cooled to room temperature. Then the solution was adjusted to neutrality with 1˜10 M NaOH or KOH and obtained the pale yellow floc. The processes of precipitation, filtering, desiccation and crushing are settled sequentially. Finally, chitosan oligosaccharides were obtained. Method of the present invention makes chitosan degrade to water-soluble chitosan oligosaccharides and it makes some inert substance become active. The method of the present invention can cut down energy consumption, decrease pollution and save time and raw materials.

The high pressure noninflammable gas is delivered into the cylinder via the gas pipe to drive the piston so as to drive and move the transportation device. Therefore the transportation device of the present invention can replace the transportation device which uses fuel as the power source.

Abstract: A press switch includes a base, a contractible pulling rod, an upper casing, and an actuator, and when the actuator is pressed to compress a resilient spring between the upper casing and the actuator, such that the contractible pulling rod and its press terminal move downward until two movable contact points are in contact with two fixed contact points of input/output terminal on both sides of the base to electrically connect to power supply If the actuator is released, the extension of the resilient spring lifts the contractible pulling rod and its press terminal, and thus the two movable contact points are forced to be detached from the fixed contact points of the input/output terminals on both sides, so as to disconnect the power supply. The invention can assure the safety of the use of an electric appliance product such a tool machine.
