Abstract: A fixing device for fixing a first element to a second element is provided. The fixing device includes a main body including at least one leg, at least one biasing member movably mounted on the at least one leg for generating a compressive force. At least one hook member rotatably connected to an end of the at least one leg, cooperating with the biasing member to fix the first element to the second element. A heat sink assembly using the fixing device are also provided.

One end of each of the at least one latching hole is defined in the sidewall. The plug includes a main body, at least one latching mechanism, and a switch. The main body includes a first surface and a second surface. The main body defines at least one receiving space, a first groove, and a second groove. The at least one latching mechanism is partially received in the receiving space. The switch is positioned in the second groove and partially external to the first groove. The at least one latching mechanism can slide to engage the switch by an external force, and the switch can cause the at least one latching mechanism to disengage from the switch by an external force.

The post includes a head portion and an end portion. The head portion has a biasing member for generating a compressive force. The end portion defines a chamber with an opening portion defined on a sidewall of the chamber. The at least one latching member is disposed within the chamber. Each latching member has a hook portion extending out laterally. The hook portion is disposed within the opening portion and slides into and out of the chamber through the opening portion. The operating member drives the hook portion to slide into and out of the chamber.

Abstract: An audio jack connector includes a dielectric housing defining an inserting hole, a movable member, a rotation member, two first switch terminals and two-second switch terminals. The movable member is movably received in the dielectric housing. The rotation member is rotatably received in the dielectric housing. Elastic protrusions protrude from one end of the rotation member. Recessed portions form between every two protrusions. Ends of two first and second switch terminals respectively include a prong, and opposite ends are received in the recessed portion. A plug connector is inserted into the inserting hole, and pushes the movable member to move. The rotation member is driven to rotate to drive the ends of the two first switch terminals and the two second switch terminals to move from the recessed portion to the protrusion, causing the prongs to stay contact with the plug connector.

Abstract: A lock is applied in an electronic device including a main body and a display. The display includes a first hook able to pass through the main body. The lock includes a base, a rack, a shaft and a gear. The rack is slidably connected to the base and includes a second hook. The shaft is secured to the base. The gear is rotatably connected to the shaft and engages the rack. The gear defines a latching slot to receive a portion of a key, which allows the gear to rotate together with the key to cause the rack to slide. The second hook is moveable together with the rack to a position where the second hook engages the first hook to lock the display to the main body. An electronic device using the lock is also provided.
