    Abstract: Liquid surfactant compositions, containing, with respect to the total weight of the composition, a) a total amount of 2.0 to 8.5 wt. % C9-C20-alkylbenzene sulfonate, and b) a total amount of 10.0 to 18.0 wt. % R1—O—(CH2CH2O)n—SO3M, wherein R1 represents a C12-18-alkyl group, n represents a number from 2 to 3, and M represents a monovalent cation, and c) a total amount of 1.0 to 6.0 wt. % R2—O—(CH2CH2O)m—SO3M?, wherein R2 represents a C12-18 alkyl group, m represents a number from 7 to 8, and M? represents a monovalent cation, d) a total amount of 2.0 to 10.0 wt. % non-ionic surfactant, e) water, and f) at least one enzyme. The liquid surfactant compositions have an acceptable rheology for the user, are storage stable and ideal for stabilizing enzymes, such as proteases in particular.
