Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods comprising acoustically absorptive air ducts comprising an internally positioned structure component as an endoskeleton and an air impervious inner layer, and an acoustically absorptive foam outer layer, environmental control systems comprising such air ducts, and vehicles incorporating such environmental control systems are disclosed with methods for manufacture and installations are disclosed.

Abstract: Aspects of an expandable sheath can be used in conjunction with a catheter assembly to introduce a prosthetic device, such as a heart valve, into a patient. Such aspects can minimize trauma to the vessel by allowing for temporary expansion of a portion of the introducer sheath to accommodate the delivery apparatus, followed by a return to the original diameter once the prosthetic device passes through. Some aspects can include a sheath with a tubular inner liner wound in a spiral configuration such that a plurality of protrusions is disposed in an overlapping portion of the sheath. The disclosed sheath is configured to expand from a predetermined rest diameter dr to an expanded diameter de during application of a radial outward force by passage of a medical device through the sheath.

Abstract: Various systems, devices, and methods are described herein pertaining to expandable sheaths. Sheath aspects are described that include a flexible sheath tip that is expandable and bendable. In some aspects, the sheath includes a radially expandable proximal end and a radially expandable distal end. In some aspects, the sheath tip includes a plurality of layers that expand to accept a medical device traveling axially and bi-directionally therethrough with minimal deformation of the sheath tip.

Abstract: Provided are a method, system, deployment and program for managing data transfer in consistency group formation. In one embodiment, nodes are periodically polled to determine traffic conditions. An estimated drain time for a node such as the most congested node, for example, is compared to a drain time limit and if within a vicinity of the drain time limit, operations switch to a consistency group formation mode. Abstract: Provided are techniques for transmitting blocks of data. It is determined whether any high priority out of sync (HPOOS) indicator is set to indicate that a number of modified segments associated with a block of data are less than or equal to a modified segments threshold. In response to determining that at least one high priority out of sync indicator is set, one or more sub-blocks of data in the modified segments associated with the block of data and with one set high priority out of sync indicator are transferred.

Abstract: Provided are a method, system, deployment and program for managing data transfer in consistency group formation. In one embodiment, a transfer time for a data structure is selected as a function of at least one determined backlog. Upon expiration of the selected transfer time, the mode of operation may be switched. By dynamically selecting a transfer time, backlogs may be reduced to increase the likelihood of successful creation of a consistency group. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
