  • Publication number: 20130215056
Abstract: For determining a sensor value of a sensor (13), a first electrical supply voltage (VS1) is supplied to the sensor (13) and a first electrical resistance of the sensor (13) is detected. Then, a second electrical supply voltage (VS2) is supplied to the sensor and a second electrical resistance of the sensor (13) is detected. The second electrical supply voltage (VS2) is different from the first electrical supply voltage (VS1). The sensor value is automatically determined depending on the first electrical supply voltage (VS1), the second electrical supply voltage (VS2), the first electrical resistance, and the second electrical resistance.

  • Publication number: 20130156238
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention are directed to systems, methods and computer program products for reducing crosstalk between two systems or between parts of the same system. In some embodiments, a method includes transmitting, from a first signal source, a first input signal to a first amplifier associated with a first audio-listening channel. Additionally, the method includes measuring a signal level along a common path shared by the first audio-listening channel and the second audio-listening channel, wherein the common path includes at least some resistance. Additionally, the method includes determining a compensation signal to be injected into the second audio-listening channel based at least partially on the measured signal level. Additionally, the method includes injecting at least a part of the first input signal into the second audio-listening channel based at least partially on the determined compensation signal, thereby reducing a current level in the second audio-listening channel.

  • Publication number: 20130142435
Abstract: A database of user preferences for a high quality picture is maintained. Preferences may be generated over time by tracking attributes of pictures that the user has deleted or failed to select for storage. When the camera is in preview mode, the camera may automatically capture image data for one or more pictures as a background operation. When the user commands the taking of a picture, the camera will capture image data for a user photo. A comparison may be made to determine which one of the automatically taken picture or the user photo has a higher correlation to user preferences for a quality photo. If the user photo has higher correlation, it may be retained in the customary manner for digital pictures. If the automatically taken photo has higher correlation, the user may be given the option to select the user photo or the automatically taken photo for retention.
