A method for preventing reverse charge comprises the steps of: starting print paper feeding, turning on a charge unit, a register sensor and an exposing unit, and checking if the top of a paper reaches a transfer unit; if the top of the paper reaches the transfer unit, turning on the transfer unit; checking if the register sensor is turned off; if the register sensor is turned off, checking if it is time the bottom of the paper reaches the transfer unit; and if the time elapses, turning off the transfer unit, performing fusing, and turning off the charge unit.
