A (11-23) plane sapphire substrate is prepared, and a non-polar (10-10) nitride semiconductor is grown on the sapphire substrate. The present invention can also be applied to a method for manufacturing other m-plane hexagonal semiconductors.

The map DB stores map data comprising road information having a road guide code and an exit code. The storage unit stores road guide codes and exit codes for the running road and a branch road, and stores road guidance voice data, voice data on the branch road, and numeric voice data. The voice processor receives and combines the voice data, and generates and synthesizes branch road guidance voice data. The controller reads the road guide codes for the running road of the measured position and the branch road, and outputs the voice data.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method of manufacturing Kimchi ketchup in red, green or yellow color by processing Kimchi in the form of dressing or sauce to be suited for use of the general public and to be selectively used depending on consumers' taste of its color. The Kimchi ketchup of the present invention has vivid and natural color of green, yellow and red, so that it does not only go beyond the prejudice of general tomato ketchup having limited color and taste, but also does not hint Kimchi to consumers intuitively.

Abstract: In a semiconductor laminated structure, a base substrate has a nitride semiconductor crystal plane in an upper surface thereof. A growth blocking film encloses a flow-through pattern which is extended horizontally on the base substrate at a predetermined interval. A nitride semiconductor crystal layer is formed on the base substrate to contact the upper surface thereof between regions of the flow-through pattern and covers the grow blocking film. The semiconductor laminated structure is employed to obtain a nitride semiconductor crystal layer, nitride semiconductor crystal substrate and nitride semiconductor device exhibiting fewer defects and high quality.

Abstract: Provided are an apparatus and method for speech segment detection, and a system for speech recognition. The apparatus is equipped with a sound receiver and an image receiver and includes: a lip motion signal detector for detecting a motion region from image frames output from the image receiver, applying lip motion image feature information to the detected motion region, and detecting a lip motion signal; and a speech segment detector for detecting a speech segment using sound frames output from the sound receiver and the lip motion signal detected from the lip motion signal detector. Since lip motion image information is checked in a speech segment detection process, it is possible to prevent dynamic noise from being misrecognized as speech.

The present invention includes embodiments that permit a party, for example a customer, to track the status of the samples (e.g., tissue, blood, or DNA) that the party sends for sequence based typing (“SBT”) analysis. The party can also participate in the analysis by accessing the sequencing data for the submitted samples. A party is able to remotely access tools for sequence based typing (e.g., Histomatcher), and using such tools, the party can review and edit the data. The party can also generate reports via the accessed tools.

Such reverse-turn mimetic structures have utility over a wide range of fields, including use as diagnostic and therapeutic agents. Libraries containing the reverse-turn mimetic structures of this invention are also disclosed as well as methods for screening the same to identify biologically active members. The invention also relates to the use of such compounds for inhibiting or treating disorders modulated by Wnt-signaling pathway, such as cancer, especially colorectal cancer, restenosis associated with angioplasty, polycystic kidney disease, aberrant angiogenesis disease, rheumatoid arthritis disease, tuberous sclerosis complex, Alzheimer's disease, excess hair growth or loss, or ulcerative colitis.

Abstract: In a voltage controlled oscillator, a voltage controlled oscillating part includes a resonance circuit, a differential amplifying circuit and an active load. The resonance circuit generates a resonance signal. The differential amplifying circuit feeds back the resonance signal from the resonance circuit and outputs two oscillation signals having a phase difference of 180°. The active load controls gain of the oscillation signals generated in the differential amplifying circuit. Further, an automatic amplitude controlling part converts the oscillation signals into a direct voltage and compares the direct voltage with a preset reference voltage to output a control voltage for determining a resistance value of the active load. The invention effectively adjusts amplitude of the oscillation signals outputted and reduces phase noise resulting from noise components induced by current source in case of switching of the differential amplitude circuit.

In the invention, a divide ratio assigner assigns divide data as a main divide ratio and a pulse swallow value according to a first or a second dividing operation mode in response to a mode selection signal. A prescaler operates on the first or second divide operation mode in response to the mode selection signal. Also, a main counter divides a frequency from the prescaler by the main divide ratio. Further, a pulse swallow counter counts a clock of the main counter while outputting a pulse swallow signal to the prescaler. The pulse swallow signal has a swallow level if a counting value corresponds to the pulse swallow value, and a non-swallow level if the counting value does not correspond to the pulse swallow value.
