Abstract: Provided is a Raman scattering measurement apparatus including a light source which emits light to smoke particles, a filter configured to block light which is incident to the smoke particles and passes through the particle and to allow Raman scattered light to pass therethrough, and a photodetector which detects the Raman scattered light passing through the filter in order to distinguish fire smoke generated due to a true fire from non-fire smoke generated due to daily life or industrial activity. The present invention also provides a fire determination apparatus including a unit which reads a Raman shift from Raman scattered light detected by the photodetector of the Raman scattering measurement apparatus, estimates a smoke component from the read Raman shift, and determines fire/non-fire from the estimated smoke component and a method thereof.

Abstract: Provided is a novel JAK-specific inhibitor compound and a method for preparing the same. The compound of the provided can exhibit therapeutic effects on a variety of diseases, for example, inflammatory diseases, autoimmune diseases, myeloproliferative diseases, and human cancers due to its ability to regulate signal transduction at the level of JAK kinases. In particular, due to its high selectivity for JAK1, the compound of the provided can exhibit better therapeutic effects on inflammatory diseases and autoimmune diseases at a low dose and with fewer side effects and can be expected to be effective in preventing and treating liver fibrosis.

Abstract: The present invention provides a stock exchange supporting system, method for supporting stock exchange and a storage medium storing the stock exchange supporting program for carrying out the same method. In accordance with the present invention, in case a stock transaction reservation information is registered just once on a stock market opening day using the stock exchange supporting system of the present invention, the reservation is continuously valid till all the stocks registered in the stock transaction reservation information are transacted or the stock transaction reservation is canceled. Abstract: An apparatus and method is provided for preventing sudden acceleration of a vehicle having an automatic transmission by detecting the sudden acceleration with use of transmission state information and rpm. A controller determines that sudden acceleration occurs if the rpm abruptly increases within a first reference time when the transmission maintains a stop or park state, output voltage of an accelerator pedal detected by an ACC detecting unit is less than a predetermined level after inputting a start key. In addition, the controller determines the sudden acceleration if the transmission changes to a driving state and the rpm abruptly increases within a second reference time. When the vehicle drives at a high speed, the controller detects sudden acceleration only when the transmission changes by repeatedly counting the rpm. The controller may also be a central processor unit in an engine control unit of the vehicle.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for the preparation of 3-(hydroxyphenylphosphinyl)-propanoic acid which is commonly used as a flame retardant for polyester resins. The preparation of 3-(hydroxyphenylphosphinyl)-propanoic acid is attained by the condensation of phenylphosphonous dichloride and acrylic acid and the hydrolysis of the condensate. In the condensation, the mole ratio of phenylphosphonous dichloride to acrylic acid is within the range of 1:1.1 to 1:1.25. Under a pressure of greater than 1 atm, acrylic acid is added at 65.about.110.degree.C. at an amount more by 10.about.25 mole % than that of phenylphosphonous dichloride and the condensation is carried out at a temperature of 70.about.100.degree. C. under at greater than 1 atm, to produce 3-(hydroxyphenylphosphinyl)-propanoic acid at high yields with desired color.
