  • Publication number: 20060158554
Abstract: In a method of generating a video pixel clock, a frequency of an output video pixel clock is increased to a first frequency setting when a quantity of data read from a frame buffer storing video data is greater than a reference level. The frequency of the output video pixel clock is decreased to a second frequency setting when the quantity of data read from the frame buffer is less than the reference level. Accordingly, an imbalance between frame rates of input and output image signals may be reduced.

  • Publication number: 20050174877
Abstract: A bus arrangement is provided including a master device and a slave device. A master converts a read command into a write command and sends the write command through a bus network within the bus arrangement and a slave device converts the write command back to the read command and sends a response. The response is sent on a bus not included within the bus network, thereby reducing a response delay time between the transmission of the read command and the response to the read command.

  • Patent number: 5734737
Abstract: A method, for use in an object-oriented analysis-synthesis coder, for segmenting an image signal into moving objects contained in a current frame and describing each motion of the moving objects with a set of motion parameters using a multi-stage segmentation comprises the steps of: (a) comparing the current frame with its preceding frame to detect a moving area in the current frame; (b) further comparing the current frame with the preceding frame to detect a motion vector for each pixel in the moving area, i.e., a motion vector field; (c) first segmenting the motion vector field by using a two dimensional translational patch model; (d) secondly segmenting the first stage segmenting results by using a planar patch model; and (e) thirdly segmenting the second-stage segmenting results by using a parabolic patch model.
