  • Publication number: 20250190384
Abstract: An apparatus may include a die including at least one circuit configured to receive a first byte mapped to a first lane of two or more lanes of a die-to-die system, receive a second byte mapped to a second lane of the two or more lanes of the die-to-die system, transmit, using one lane of the two or more lanes of the die-to-die system, a portion of the first byte, and transmit, using the one lane of the two or more lanes of the die-to-die system, a portion of the second byte. The one lane of the two or more lanes of the die-to-die system may be the first lane of the two or more lanes of the die-to-die system. The one lane of the two or more lanes of the die-to-die system may be a third lane of the two or more lanes of the die-to-die system.

  • Publication number: 20250181896
Abstract: A system and a method for loop exit are disclosed. A unit scheduler includes a command queue, a report queue, an interface, and a unit controller. The command queue is configured to store commands for execution in an iterative procedure for an application using a transformer model with a multi-head attention (MHA) mechanism and a decoder. The report queue is configured to store status reports on the execution of the commands. The interface is configured to communicate with a host processor to receive the commands and to transmit the status reports. The unit controller is configured to determine a change of the iterative procedure based on a loop exit condition being met. The unit controller reports the loop exit condition in the report queue.

  • Patent number: 8199774
Abstract: A method and apparatus is disclosed that receives variable sized packets in a communication system. When a packet is received with a certain burst size, an LLR of the received packet is compared with a preset threshold and the burst size is changed. The received packet is combined with a stored packet. The stored packet is updated with the combined packet. The changed burst size is reported to the transmitter. The communication system can transmit variable sized packets according to a channel environment, and can reduce the probability of the occurrence of a decoding error and prevent waste of resources used due to re-transmission.

  • Publication number: 20080013634
Abstract: An apparatus and method for high-speed interfacing between ICs are provided. A generator generates space clock pulses by adjusting a data rate of data. An inserter inserts commas during the space clock pulses. And a transmitter transmits bit streams with the data and the commas to a receiving IC. Accordingly, data can be transmitted and received at high rates between ICs.
