Abstract: An apparatus for affixing a printed circuit board within a monitor case assembly includes a first guide mechanism integrally formed on opposing side walls of a front case section, a second guide mechanism integrally formed on two side walls of a second case section and at least one coupling device formed on the front case bottom side wall and aligned with the first guide mechanism. The planes of the components are aligned with each other so that a printed circuit board is securely engaged within grooves formed in the guide mechanisms and locked in position by the coupling device.

Abstract: A box-like packaging means made of uniform material such as paperboard or clipboard having a chamber or hollow defined by four side walls, each having a pair of lids at its top and bottom edges, are disclosed, wherein a plurality of buffers are matingly engaged with cutouts formed on opposite lids in opposed side walls are provided to support respective corresponding corners of a package which being typically an electronic or electrical products. In the disclosure, a plurality of cutouts in substantially same dimension and configuration of "L"-shape are provided in opposite lids of a pair of opposed side walls. Also provided are a plurality of buffers that are substantially same configuration as cutouts, providing firm engagement with cutouts thereby endowing a stabilized encasing to a pack.

Abstract: An improved monitor stand assembly is disclosed having an upper stand portion with a horizontal locking aperture and first and second guide ribs protrudently formed on the underside of the upper stand portion. The assembly also includes a stand base portion having a coupler bar and rotation controlling ribs and an integral resilient tab. Cooperation of the guide ribs with the controlling ribs and a rib on the resilient tab provides an adjustment and control mechanism which prevents the upper stand portion and stand base portion from dislocating by reducing the resistance to adjustment. The present invention also prevents any deformation of the resilient tab structure or limiting structure thereby enhancing product reliability.
