  • Patent number: 9568584
Abstract: A wireless positioning server using clock offset compensation and a wireless positioning method using the same. The wireless positioning server using clock offset compensation estimates a precise position of a tag requiring position information by effectively predicting information regarding a distance between a beacon for performing positioning and the tag requiring position information. An error in the positioning estimation result due to a clock offset is minimized by measuring a relative clock frequency ratio between beacons and by compensating for clock frequencies of the beacons when a distance between a beacon and a tag is estimated.

  • Patent number: 8340022
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a wireless location determination system and method. A wireless location determination system of the present invention includes one or more location determination nodes (reception units) for calculating standard deviations of time intervals between pulses sequentially received from a location determination target, and estimating reliability values from the standard deviations. A location determination server receives messages, including the reliability values, from the location determination nodes, and obtains a location of the location determination target (transmission unit).

  • Patent number: 8335289
Abstract: Disclosed herein is an apparatus and method for detecting an impulse signal or impulse sequence to realize wireless real-time location system application in a multipath fading environment. The apparatus includes a band-pass filter, an RF analog unit, and a signal processing base-band unit. The band-pass filter removes unnecessary frequency bands from impulse signals received through a receiving antenna. The RF analog unit detects the envelope of the impulse sequence deprived of the unnecessary frequency bands and based on a multipath, and outputs a digital signal regarding the envelope based on a leading edge of the envelope. The signal processing base-band unit performs low-speed 1-bit sampling and then output data, and, if frame synchronization has been found or a ranging command has been detected, performs high-speed 1-bit sampling and then calculates and outputs the propagation time of the impulse signals.

  • Patent number: 8253880
Abstract: In a container for a display device, a method of manufacturing the same, and a display device including the container, the container includes an inner layer including carbon of about 0.001 wt % to about 0.1 wt %, silicon of about 0.002 wt % to about 0.05 wt %, manganese of about 0.3 wt % to about 2 wt %, impurities of about 0.08 wt % to about 0.29 wt % based on a total weight of the inner layer and a remainder of iron, a plating layer formed on the inner layer and including electric zinc, and a polymer chrome-free layer formed on the plating layer. Thus, a weight and a thickness of the container may be reduced so that the container may have a light weight and a thin thickness.
