    Abstract: Disclosed is a method for performing a handoff in a CoMP cluster. A user equipment measures a signal to interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) value of each of the CoMP sets constituted by the combination of a plurality of base stations in one CoMP cluster. Then, the user equipment transmits the SINR value of each of the CoMP sets to a serving base station through a pilot strength measurement message (PSMM). Subsequently, the user equipment receives, from the serving base station, a message which instructs a handoff determined through the transmitted signal to interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) values.
