  • Patent number: 6836896
Abstract: A clamp driving device of a compact disk player for an automobile is disclosed. When a disk is loaded and moved to the center of a turntable, a selective arm is rotated by the loaded disk and thus a sensor lever is moved forwardly. A checking piece of the sensor lever is disengaged from a hook piece of an idle arm, and the idle arm is rotated upwardly, thereby raising an idle gear. The idle gear is engaged with a cam gear to rotate the cam gear. A transmission bar transmits the turning force of the cam gear to a locking lever to move the locking lever forwardly. By the forward movement of the locking lever, a supporting pin of the locking lever is separated from a clamp arm, and thus the clamp arm is lowered by a spring. The disk is pressed at its upper surface by the clamp, thereby preventing deviation of the disk. The device can fulfill all clamping operations by mechanical components and without using electrical components.

  • Publication number: 20030161241
Abstract: A loading device of a compact disk player for an automobile is disclosed. The loading device has a roller provided at an inlet to be rotated by a driving motor, a roller arm supporting the roller to be moved up and down, the roller arm being divided into a first roller arm and a second roller arm which are connected to a connecting shaft to be in the same plane and separately rotated about the connecting shaft by a certain angle, and a spring interposed between the roller arm and a player body to bias the roller upwardly by its restoring force, whereby a disk inserted through the inlet is loaded into the player body and seated on a turntable. The loading device of the present invention has constant ejecting force, thereby preventing ejecting errors and thus improving performance and reliability of products.

  • Publication number: 20030161240
Abstract: A disk guide device of a compact disk player for an automobile which is conveniently used regardless of a size of a disk by enabling only one mechanism to drive any of different disks is disclosed. A clamp arm, which is hingedly connected at its rear part to a main body, is provided at the left side of its upper surface with a pusher arm to be rotated. The clamp arm is provided at the right side of its upper surface with a locker arm and a selective arm to be rotated. The clamp arm is provided at its right side with a stopper for selectively stopping rotation of the selective arm. Since the device can drive an 80 mm disk as well as a 120 mm disk by itself, there are economical and practical advantages. Since the guide arm guides a disk while moving linearly, it is possible to achieve favorable operational smoothness and decrease of failure rate.
