  • Publication number: 20230316485
Abstract: A computer-implemented method allows a wait time to be determined automatically for a queue area. The queue is part of an environment and includes defined entrance and exit areas. A series of images showing the environment are received over time. A wait time associated with the queue area is determined by detecting a location of a object corresponding to a person in a first one of the images; associating the object with an identifier uniquely identifying the object in the first one of the images matching objects in later images; and determining the wait time based on times associated with an image in which an object associated with the identifier enters the queue area through the defined entrance area and later one of the images in which an object associated with the identifier exits the queue area through the defined exit area. An indication of the wait time is output.

  • Publication number: 20200401307
Abstract: A computing device configured to communicate with a display provides a graphical user interface (GUI) and receives gestural input interacting with the GUI from input device. The computing device produces a region on the display to undo a previously performed action. Upon receiving input at the region via the input device, a counter is initiated to count an amount of time the input is consecutively received at the region. Upon the counter reaching a predetermined threshold, an action is executed to undo the previously performed action. A progress of the counter may be indicated. The progress may be indicated by altering the display at the region or a different region. The GUI at the region may display an empty progress bar before the input and be filled in response to the progress. A message may be communicated to invoke an undo operation by another device.

  • Patent number: 10176461
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments include methods and systems for providing a notification relating to a geographical boundary based on monitored sensor data collected by networked devices. The disclosed embodiments include, for example, a method that monitors positional sensor data received from one or more triggering devices. The method may calculate a first boundary extent delimiting the geographical area of the first boundary based on one or more boundary extent parameters. The method may also detect an occurrence of a triggering condition that impacts a movement of at least one of a client device or at least one of the triggering devices within a geographic region that includes the first location. In response to the detected triggering event, at least one of modified start time or a second location may be established for the event, which may be provided to the client and triggering devices in a notification.
