  • Patent number: 8757037
Abstract: A method of feeding packaging material (5, 11) between a punch form (1) and an anvil (12) and bringing the punch form (1) and the anvil (12) together so that the packaging material (5, 11) is die-cut in such a manner that a relative sliding (9) occurs between the packaging material (5, 11) and the actual sheet material (4) of the election rubber (3) during the die-cutting course, even when the clamping pressure (8) is applied.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 3, 2010
Date of Patent: June 24, 2014
    Assignee: SOBI HB
    Inventor: Soren Cavlin

  • Publication number: 20050115372
Abstract: The invention concerns a punch form for die-cutting of packaging material (5), comprising cutting knives (2) and/or scoring rules, the punch form (1) is at least partly dressed with sheet material (4) which is arranged in the punch form (1) so that crack reducing of the packaging material (5) is achieved at lease in connection to the cutting knives (2) and/or scoring rules. The friction and the adhesion between the sheet material (4) and the packaging material (5) is so low that a relative sliding can occur between the sheet material (4) and the packaging material (5) during the die-cutting course, which includes a combined ejecting and cleaning course.

  • Patent number: 5176613
Abstract: A process and an apparatus for preventing a packaging material which is being die-cut and scored from developing cracks. A crack-reducing sheet material (17) is positioned between the cutting/scoring tools (9, 13) and the packaging material (5) to absorb impact energy from said tools and relieve the packaging material of crackproducing forces in the direction of its plane.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 5, 1991
Date of Patent: January 5, 1993
    Inventors: Soren Cavlin, Birger Edholm
  • Patent number: 4055903
Abstract: A method and apparatus for drying disintegrated fiber mass or paper pulp comprising substantially free single fibers and wads or lumps of fibers. The disintegrated fiber mass is exposed to hot drying air or gas at a temperature of at least 180.degree. C. Free fibers are separated from the fiber mass during or after the drying process in order to avoid or compensate for excessive heating and drying of these free fibers. This facilitates a later grinding process in which the dried fiber mass is ground after addition of water.
