  • Patent number: 9155391
Abstract: A linear actuator (8) in which a squeeze protection device is arranged, where the device is located in connection with the rear fixture (17) on the motor (10). The squeeze protection device is based on a piezo element (23), which as a module (22) is built into the actuator (8), so that it is passed through by the forces, exerted by the actuator (8). The piezo element (23) is equipped with cables (30), which are connected to a printed circuit board (31) in the actuator (8), where the connections for the actuator (8) are collected, so that the signal from the squeeze protection in an easy manner may be communicated to a control device (6), which can stop the motor (10) or briefly reverse the direction of the movement and thus release a trapped object.

  • Publication number: 20110290828
Abstract: A metering arrangement is adapted for dispensing metered quantities of liquid from a container via a lower outlet passage thereof. The metering arrangement includes a first valve which is placed in the outlet passage and is adapted to open in response to an excess pressure in the container and close in response to a negative pressure in the container. The metering arrangement also includes a second valve which is placed in the outlet passage upstream or at a higher level than the first valve and is adapted to close in response to opening of the first valve and to open in response to a negative pressure. This enables the container to dispense a liquid like e.g. a liquid soap in portions, which portions have exactly the same size each time a dispensing operation is conducted.

  • Patent number: 6695174
Abstract: A dispenser for a liquid or viscous soap. The dispenser includes a disposable soap container having a discharge end and a feed pump for pumping a dose of soap out of the discharge end, a housing for receiving the soap container via a front aperture in the housing, and a cover for closing the front aperture of the housing. This cover is pivotally mounted about a horizontal swing axis extending across an upper edge in the front aperture of the housing. Furthermore, the cover is arranged to be able to swing between a first swing position in which the front aperture is clear, a second swing position in which the front aperture is covered and the cover is in contact with the pump, and at least a third swing position in which the cover has activated the feed pump. The dispenser has a simple, inexpensive design with no wearing parts that require maintenance.

Abstract: A dispenser serving for dosing a dose of liquid or viscous soap. The main components of the dispenser is a disposable soap container having a discharge end mainly at the bottom in the state of use and a feed pump for pumping a dose of soap out of the discharge end, a housing for receiving the soap container via a front aperture in the housing, and a cover for closing the front aperture of the housing. This cover is pivotally mounted about a horizontal swing axis extending across an upper edge in the front aperture of the housing. Furthermore, the cover is arranged to be able to swing between a first swing position in which the front aperture is clear, a second swing position in which the front aperture is covered and the cover is in contact with the pump, and at least a third swing position in which the cover has activated the feed pump by means of a manual action. The dispenser according to the invention has a simple, inexpensive design with no wearing parts that require maintenance.

  • Patent number: 4144752
Abstract: The invention relates to an ultrasonically operative device operable with an ultrasonic signal having a predetermined wave length for measuring physical quantities such as the flow speed of a medium such as water. The device includes an ultrasonic transmitter and an ultrasonic receiver with a tube unit therebetween defining a transmission path for the medium. The tube unit has an internal diameter less than about fifteen times the wavelength of the signal. The tube unit includes an outer metal tube and an inner plastics liner of a plastic such as a polyamide.
