    Abstract: A hearing aid is provided that includes a hollow customized shell adapted to an individual's ear canal. The shell has a frontal surface part having an opening to an interior of the hollow customized shell. The shell has an edge portion between the frontal surface part and a second surface part of the shell adapted for engagement with the individual's ear canal. An intermediary frame is fixedly positioned in the opening. A hearing aid module is adapted to be removably fixed in the intermediary frame.
