    Abstract: A method, performed by a policy controlling node, for handling a service for a communications device. The method comprises receiving, during the establishment of the service, from an application node, a first message comprising a preliminary service information for the service and an indicator of a request to provide network-provided location information; and in response to receiving the first message, providing a second message, to a session management node controlling a data session of the communications device. The data session is associated with the service. The second message comprises an indicator of a request for early network-provided location information to be provided before resource reservation for the service is performed and an indication of a set of policies for controlling resource reservation for the service. The indication of the set of policies is based on the preliminary service information received in the first message.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for Internet Protocol (IP) Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) support for non-International Mobile Subscriber Identity (IMSI) based Subscription Permanent Identifier (SUPI). In one embodiment, a method performed by a wireless communication device for IMS registration comprises deriving IMS registration information based on a non-IMSI based SUPI of the wireless communication device and sending an IMS registration request to an IMS node, the IMS registration request comprising the IMS registration information. In this manner, the non-IMSI SUPI can be reused for IMS access, e.g., when the network administrator does not plan to use an IP Multimedia Services Identity Module (ISIM), IMS Credential (IMC), or any future IMS-specific identity module in the deployed wireless communication devices. This simplifies the deployment by eliminating the need to manage and provision the IMS identity modules for a large number of wireless communication devices in use.

The network node determines whether the called party number is allowable in the access network. The network node modifies and transmits the received SIP INVITE message towards a home network of the first UE to cause the home network to route the originating call to the access network.

At the Serving Call Session Control Function node, at least certain SIP messages originating at subscriber terminals are intercepted and, for each intercepted message and in the absence of a matching specific screening trigger, the default trigger is activated so as to cause the SIP message to be forwarded to a specific SIP application service.
