Abstract: Systems and methods for high frequency epidural stimulation to control sensation are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method for restoring physiological function in a subject having a neurological impairment includes generating a stimulation pattern. The stimulation pattern includes pulses at a first frequency, where the pulses of the stimulation pattern are modulated by a modulation pattern at a second frequency. The second frequency is higher than the first frequency. The method also includes stimulating a region of the spinal cord with the stimulation pattern via one or more electrodes.
