  • Publication number: 20180180160
Abstract: A friction pulley includes a rotatable rotary wheel having a groove on an outer periphery thereof, and a rubber ring formed so as to be able to be accommodated in the groove. The groove has a pair of side surfaces. The rubber ring has a contact surface which is brought into pressure contact with a rotary member so as to transmit power on an outer periphery thereof, and friction surfaces which are a pair of surfaces corresponding to the groove. At least in a power transmission state where the contact portion is brought into pressure contact with the rotary member so as to transmit power, the friction surfaces of the rubber ring are pushed to the side surfaces of the groove. The friction pulley-includes separation preventing devices for preventing separation of the rubber ring from the groove in an outward direction.

Abstract: A friction pulley includes a rotary wheel having a groove on an outer periphery of the rotary wheel rotatable about an axis, the groove being recessed toward an inner periphery side, and a rubber ring having an annular shape and can be accommodated in the groove. The groove has a pair of annular side surfaces facing each other in a direction of the axis and extending from an inner peripheral side toward an outer peripheral side. The rubber ring has a contact surface at an outer periphery of the rubber ring and friction surfaces that are a pair of surfaces corresponding to the pair of side surfaces of the groove. At least in a power transmission state where the contact surface is in pressure contact with the rotary member to transmit power, the friction surfaces of the rubber ring are pushed against the side surfaces of the groove.

  • Patent number: 7753376
Abstract: There is provided a plunger seal (1) for a fuel injection pump for a direct-injection gasoline engine, in which, even if a resin material is used for a fuel seal member (12), the plunger seal can be made compact, sealing ability is increased, and assembling man-hours can be reduced, and in which set sealing performance can be achieved when a U-shaped elastic member (33) for applying an energizing force in a diametrical direction is used in a groove (41) formed in the fuel seal member (12). The resin fuel seal member (12) and an oil seal member (13) are assembled to form one seal system. • Publication number: 20070241515
Abstract: In a sealing device (1) , in which a main seal lip (6) used for a shock absorber is formed in a one-stage seal lip structure, for the purpose to improve friction characteristics while securing sealing performance, a roughened portion (63) to which satin finishing is applied to form projections and recessions on the surface thereof is formed on the sliding surface (61) of the main seal lip (6) slidably moving on a contacting member at a position apart a specified distance from a lip edge (62). An area between the lip edge (62) and the portion where the roughened portion (63) is formed is a plane portion (64) to which the satin finishing for forming irregularities is not applied. In place of the satin finishing, a plurality of axially extending projections (65), concave threads (67), or lattice-shaped projections (68) may be formed on the roughened portion.
