    Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes a storage device to store, for a plurality of sample media, for each of a plurality of applications, setting information relating to imaging of a medium or an image processing, and image information relating to a sample image generated according to the setting information, a communication device, and a processor to receive an input image from an image reading apparatus via the communication device, extract a predetermined number of sample media in a descending order of a similarity between a corresponding sample image and the input image, from among the plurality of sample media, based on the image information, identify the setting information for each of the plurality of applications for each of the extracted predetermined number of sample media, and output the identified setting information for each of the plurality of applications.
