  • Publication number: 20230289377
Abstract: An analytics system receives, from a client computing device, a request to generate a presentation for an entity, the request indicating a presentation template to present one or more combinations of theme information, actionable insights information, and question information. The analytics system accesses feedback data associated with the entity. The feedback data comprises unstructured data available from multiple data stores. The analytics system determines analytical data that indicates themes, actionable insights, and questions generated from the feedback data. The analytics system generates a presentation file based on the analytical data. The presentation file includes one or more combinations of the themes, actionable insights, and questions according to the presentation template. • Publication number: 20230289854
Abstract: An analytics system receives, from a client computing device, a request to generate a presentation. The analytics system accesses one or more feedback datasets of feedback data. The feedback data comprises unstructured data available from multiple data stores. The analytics system generates, for each feedback dataset, a respective feedback text and a respective sentiment score indicating a degree of negativity associated with the respective feedback text. For a combination of a plurality of generated feedback texts, the analytics system selects a set of themes based at least on a plurality of generated sentiment scores. Each sentiment score of the plurality of generated sentiment scores is associated with one of the plurality of generated feedback texts. The analytics system generates a presentation file that indicates the set of themes. The analytics system causes the presentation file to be transmitted to the client computing device.

  • Patent number: 9703639
Abstract: Journaling technology, in which a tool, that is separate from a journaling process executed by a server system, causes display of an interface that enables user selection of information derivable from journaling data collected by the journaling process. The tool receives, through the displayed interface, user input selecting desired information derivable from the journaling data collected by the journaling process. Based on the user input, the tool determines one or more commands that are understood by the journaling process and that control the journaling process to retrieve journaling data needed to derive the desired information. The tool controls the journaling process to execute the one or more commands, accesses journaling data retrieved through execution of the one or more commands, and reformats the accessed journaling data into a presentable format of the desired information.

  • Patent number: 9280506
Abstract: A system and corresponding method for transferring data via an interface assembly is provided. The data is transferred between a USB port of a first device and a media port of a second device. Uncompressed high definition media data may be received from the USB port. The received uncompressed high definition media data may be supplied to a media connector in accordance with a first media standard, such that the supplied data can be transmitted in accordance with the first media standard via the media connector to the media port of the second device. The uncompressed high definition media data may include multimedia data and side-band communication data. A single signal may be encoded and decoded in accordance with a protocol that enables the single signal to communicate all side-band communications to and from the source device via a single pin of a USB connector.

  • Patent number: 9148001
Abstract: Provided are cables for transmitting media data from media transmitters to receivers and methods of using such cables for charging the transmitters. In certain embodiments, power for such charging may be obtained by the cable from the media receiver during media data transmission and may be recycled back to the transmitter. In other embodiments, charging may be performed while no media data is transmitted. Power may be supplied by a media receiver still connected to the cable, by an external power source, or both devices simultaneously. A cable may be configured to prevent an automatic shutdown of the media receiver due to lack of media data transmission and to, thereby, maintain the receiver as a power source. Specifically, a cable may generate screen saver data and transmit this data to the receiver. The cable may include a converter board for providing various functions.

  • Patent number: 9002836
Abstract: An asset management system (AMS) facilitates management of electronic assets of a software service delivery organization. The AMS may facilitate classification of the electronic assets according to delivery phases in which each electronic asset is usable and accordingly enables users to identify and download the suitable assets usable in a desired delivery phase. The AMS also may receive from the users, usage data for (representing an extent of use of) the downloaded electronic assets and generate a set of utilization characteristics of the electronic asset based on the usage data. In addition, the AMS may facilitate classification of the assets according to a set of technology areas in which each electronic asset is applicable. On identifying that a new user is expected to operate in a specific technology area, the AMS may determine and provide suitable assets applicable to the specific technology area.

  • Patent number: 8907221
Abstract: Provided are cables for transmitting media data between media transmitters and receivers. A cable includes an integrated circuit for performing this data transmission and, in certain embodiments, various other functions. The integrated circuit may be enclosed in a base member used to support one of the connectors of the cable. The cable also includes a flexible member extending between this base member and another connector. A portion of the cable protrudes into the base member and makes electrical connections to conductive points of the integrated circuit or, more specifically, to conductive points on a connection pad of the circuit. The cable is rigidly supported and mechanically secured to the base member to preserve these electrical connections, particularly when mechanical stress is applied to the flexible member. In certain embodiments, the base member includes one or more notch members and/or enclosure members to ensure this support.
