  • Publication number: 20250102813
Abstract: An artificial-reality headset comprises a first lens assembly coupled with a first shape guide, and a second lens assembly coupled with a second shape guide. The artificial-reality headset comprises an interpupillary-distance (IPD) adjustment system that moves one or both of the first lens assembly and the second lens assembly to produce a first IPD between the first lens assembly and the second lens assembly, and a second IPD between the first lens assembly and the second lens assembly. A membrane is included, and the membrane is in contact with the first and second shape guides such that: when the first IPD is produced between the first lens assembly and the second lens assembly, a number of creases in the portions of the membrane is a first number, and when the second IPD is produced between the first lens assembly and the second lens assembly, no new creases are introduced.

  • Publication number: 20250070864
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices in a satellite for on-orbit recovery are described. The device includes a plurality of circuits that are electrically connected to a backplane of the device, and a controller configured to monitor parameters of at least one of the plurality of circuits, and configured to store the parameters that are monitored with respective timestamps and respective orbit locations of the satellite. The controller is further configured to identify an error of a first circuit of the plurality of circuits based on the parameters that are monitored and the respective orbit locations of the satellite.

  • Publication number: 20230140573
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to a satellite or systems, which may include a satellite. The satellite, in some embodiments, may correspond to a software-defined satellite. The satellite may provide a platform-as-a-service, resources of which can be made available to one or multiple different tenants on a per-use basis. Each tenant may be able to securely access different resources of the satellite.

  • Patent number: 10175731
Abstract: Cooling of at least two heat generating electronic components of a computing device is described herein. The computing device includes the at least two heat generating electronic components. The at least two heat generating electronic components includes a first heat generating electronic component and a second heat generating electronic component. The first heat generating electronic component and the second heat generating electronic component are in thermal communication. The computing device also includes a first sensor operable to measure a first temperature. The first temperature is associated with the first heat generating electronic component.

  • Patent number: 9685984
Abstract: Feet for a multi-position computing device are described. In one or more implementations, a multi-position computing device is configured to include a base and a display device connected to the base by a hinge mechanism. The hinge mechanism is operable to position the display device into multiple positions relative to the base including at least an upright position and a laid-down position. An arrangement of feet on the underside of the base is designed to facilitate dynamic movement of the device into the multiple positions. The arrangement of feet includes sliding feet that engage for sliding of the base across a surface when pressure is applied to the hinge mechanism for transitions between positions. The arrangement of feet also includes tacky feet that engage and resist sliding of the base across the surface in the absence of pressure applied to the hinge mechanism.
