    Abstract: A cam for an archery bow is constructed comprising a body for guided entrainment of a bow string. The body accommodates an axle for mounting the body to the bow for rotation about an axis of the axle. At least one adjuster is carried by the body for adjustment between at least two positions. The adjuster is arranged in a first position to define a first draw weight and draw length of the bow, and in a second position to define a second draw weight of the bow. At least one of the draw weights and draw lengths are different, so that moving the adjuster from its first position to its second position changes either the draw weight, draw length, or both.

    Abstract: A method of producing a set of archery bow risers having a variety of shapes is taught in which a workpiece is designed having a shape that encompasses each one of the variety of shapes. A set of dies is produced for producing the workpiece and the dies are used to form a set of workpieces via forging, die-casting or composite resin/fiber molding. Finally, a set of bows having mutually different shapes are machined from the workpieces. The method taught avoids the expense of producing a new set of dies for each new archery bow riser design.

    Abstract: A limb construction for a compound archery bow includes a handle riser and a bow limb attached to the handle riser. The bow limb comprises a pair of independent and separate resilient limb members projecting from the handle riser. The limb members are spaced apart from each other and each have a tip portion opposite the handle riser. A pulley is attached to the bow limb between respective tip portions of the limb members. The handle riser includes a limb mounting bracket. The limb mounting bracket has at least two recesses and at least two mounting pins. Each mounting pin has a projection. The projections are matingly engageable with the recesses, and each mounting pin is also engaged with a respective limb member. The recesses may be cup-shaped and the projections may be dome shaped. A rocking plate is mounted between the projections and the limb members. A shim is between the limb mounting bracket and the bow limb.
