Abstract: An automated brush cleaning and drying apparatus includes a housing, a cleaning solution bottle coupled to the housing and a spray nozzle, a fan coupled to the housing, a support frame assembly disposed within the housing, a rotation mechanism assembly coupled to the support frame assembly and having a rotatable claw designed to engage with the brush's end tip, and a height adjustment mechanism assembly operably coupled to the support frame assembly within the housing. The height adjustment mechanism assembly adjusts the height of the support frame assembly to a first position to permit the rotation mechanism assembly to drive the rotatable claw to rotate the brush as the spray nozzle disperses the cleaning solution from the bottle to the brush's bristles. The height adjustment mechanism assembly adjusts the height of the support frame assembly to a second position to align the brush's bristles with the fan.

Abstract: A light-weight, egg shaped charcoal grill is presented. The charcoal grill features a grill assembly and a cart. The grill assembly comprises a double walled lid, main body and ash pan, wherein the lid is hingedly connected to the main body and the ash pan is detachable from the main body. The grill assembly features adjustable upper and lower air vents located in the lid and ash pan, respectively, as well as a temperature sensor in the lid. The grill assembly further includes shelves which are rotatable about the perimeter of the grill assembly and which may also be moved from a working position parallel to a ground surface to a folded position perpendicular to the ground surface, for storage.

Abstract: A contact lens case including a body or base portion with a pair of lens-receiving wells recessed therein, a cap or cover closable to form a substantially liquid-impermeable seal around the wells, and a latch or closure assembly engageable to secure the cover in its closed position. A compressible gasket around the wells assists in forming the seal with the cover. The wells include a primary bowl portion with a tapered secondary portion extending therefrom to assist in lens removal.

Abstract: An integrated lens care system including a lens case for contact lenses and a container for dispensing a lens care solution. The container includes a docking site where the lens case can be stored and then removed for use, and a retainer mechanism for releasably securing the lens case in the docked position. In example embodiments, the docking site is a chamber into which the lens case is inserted, and the retainer mechanism includes at least one protrusion that extends into the docking chamber and releasably couples to at least one recess in the lens case. In another example embodiment, the docking site is a peripheral edge of the container body where a combination lens case/closure cap mounts, and the retainer mechanism includes a snap-fit coupling at the peripheral edge.

Abstract: An introducer for use with an ultrasonic imaging system. The introducer comprises a tubular member having a connecting end, a positioning end, and a central lumen, the connecting end including a coupling for attaching the introducer to an ultrasonic imaging system, and the positioning end comprising a plug or other structure that facilitates positioning of the introducer inside a urethra at a fixed anatomical landmark.

Abstract: An ultrasound scanning system and methods of using the same. In one preferred form, an ultrasound scanning system comprises an acoustic imaging catheter comprising an ultrasonic transducer, a motion control system and an imaging computer system for imaging a patient's genitourinary system. In another preferred form, an ultrasound scanning system is used for imaging a patient's prostate gland.

Abstract: A skateboard includes a motorized drive assembly and a motorized brake assembly, both operable with a wireless remote control to be carried by a rider. The drive assembly is free-wheeling permitting normal use of the skateboard in the event of battery depletion. The brake system includes a motor operable through a simple machine structure to move a brake pad against a brake disk mounted against a wheel. A self-adjustment mechanism presets the brake pad a predetermined distance from the disk prior to brake application. Motor enertia is relied on to store potential energy in a wheel axel in accordance with an associated method of operation.
