  • Patent number: 4553494
Abstract: An aquatic camera apparatus consisting of a transparent screen separating an upper dark dry chamber from a lower vacuum wet chamber. The upper dark chamber is provided with a folding camera obscura and a looking mask for the viewer. A drainage valve is provided over the transparent screen for cleaning it and a vacuum valve is provided on top of the wet chamber expelling the air from inside. The device can be used manually or mechanically, outboard or inboard from any watercraft for the purpose of searching the flora and fauna inside any body of clear water. The device can be also used as a direct fishing aid, or for taking underwater photographs.

  • Patent number: 4484711
Abstract: A shower head having improved housing and shank and having also a valve inside, activated by a front knob. The flow of mixed water through the shower head being stopped or allowed for convenient and for economical reasons in the course of a shower bath by pulling or pushing the front knob.

  • Patent number: 4427177
Abstract: A shower control consisting of a ball valve mounted into a shower arm and being activated by a rotatable device attached to the ball valve. The flow of mixed water through the shower head can be stopped or allowed for economical and convenient reasons by pulling continuously a beaded chain which operates the device and furthermore the ball valve.

  • Patent number: 4377286
Abstract: This invention relates to a globe divided by a plurality of symmetrical meridional lines and by an equatorial line and/or by tropical lines in a plurality of spherical triangles and spherical quadrilaterals which are grouped on different colors or which are covered with colored drawings representing colored stories or the world map between two poles. Every couple of symmetrical meridans divides the globe in two hemispheres which can be turned so that one hemisphere changes the poles. The equator divides the globe in other two hemispheres which can rotate independently and the tropical lines divide the globe in zones which also can rotate independently. Combining this plurality of spatial rotations disposed on different angles and on different planes between them, becomes possible to make arrangements of spherical triangles and quadrilaterals to get different symmetrical colored designs or correct drawings according to everyone's ability.

  • Patent number: 4344592
Abstract: A system for launching heavy rockets from the shaft of a launching tower where a cluster of liquid-propellant motors is mounted to its base and a series of clusters of solid-propellant motors are mounted in the tower's columns, the latter motors being consecutively upwardly fired. The rocket is supported by a piston impinged by the jet of gases ejected by the tower's motors. The impinging jet of gases spreads out of the shaft through open windows which are provided in the tower's walls and the rising movement of the rocket inside the shaft is controlled along a given path of movement in a manner that the firing of motors and closing of windows ensure controlled pressures below the piston and as a result, controlled accelerations. The rocket leaving the tower disconnects the impinging piston and then fires its own motors, having at that point a kinetic energy greater than usual.

  • Patent number: 4187654
Abstract: The customary method to prepare the pool bottoms in order to install the vinyl liners is with even, smooth surfaces. Difficulties occur when draining a vinyl liner pool in order to change the water, repair the liner, clean the grease from the liner, or remove the impurities from the pool bottom. In the method which I propose, the pool bottom is finished with plastic or rubber tiles which are pitched in the ground. The upper surface of the tiles is deeply impressed with geometrical designs and cramped channels which allow flow of the underliner air towards a permanent vacuum system at any time. Thus, whenever it is necessary, the liner is sucked to the pool bottom by higher pressures than the normal water pressure of the pool, and the liner maintains its shape firmly until the pool is able to be refilled.

  • Patent number: 4167365
Abstract: A parking system for cars has a plurality of parking shelves disposed horizontally and vertically on both sides of a central zone of vertical movement, one car being carried to and from the shelf by a carrier activated by its driving gear means to raise on vertical racks in the central zone and to perform its lateral movement in the parking shelf at its parking level where a series of rams make the racks discontinuous and from the shelves, on both sides, extensible rails extend their mobile parts beneath the carrier when it is arrived at its parking level; the driving means of the carrier being: the car itself, a motor of the carrier, or the car for the loaded carrier and the carrier's motor for the unloaded carrier; the unloaded carrier being stored either in a central basement or in parking shelves.
