  • Patent number: 10484531
Abstract: Systems and methods presented herein can allow a teacher to manage student devices in a classroom setting to increase learning efficiency. The teacher device can receive peer-to-peer broadcasts from the student devices and track class attendance based on the broadcasts. The teacher device can also apply locks and lock profiles to the functionality of the student devices, such as restricting websites and document access, without impacting the functionality of the student device outside of the classroom and/or school setting. The locks on the student devices can be automatically unlocked at the end of a class or school day.

  • Patent number: 9442925
Abstract: A system for consolidating data messages includes a memory that stores data messages. Each of the data messages has a user field, an outside party field, and a timestamp field. The first data message's user field is associated with a first user, the outside party field is associated with a first outside party, and the timestamp field is associated with a first timestamp. The third data message's user field is associated with a first user, the outside party field is associated with a first outside party, and the timestamp field is associated with a third timestamp. A processor then groups the first data message and the third data message based at least in part upon the user field, outside party field, and timestamp field of each message. The processor then combines the first data message and the third data message into a consolidated data message.

  • Patent number: 9148569
Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, a check's image is automatically captured. A stabilization parameter of the mobile device is determined using a movement sensor. It is determined whether the stabilization parameter is greater than or equal to a stabilization threshold. An image of the check is captured using the mobile device if the stabilization parameter is greater than or equal to the stabilization threshold.
