  • Patent number: 11706656
Abstract: Various embodiments provide methods for Internet Protocol (IP) packet handling. Various embodiments may enable downlink (DL) data prioritization of IP packets for time-sensitive applications, for example by using differentiated services code point (DSCP) indications or type-of-service (TOS) indications in headers of the IP packets to distinguish prioritized IP packets from non-prioritized IP packets. In various embodiments, IP packets that are prioritized IP packets may be sent to another processor of a wireless device using a prioritized traffic handling configuration that has a lower latency than a default traffic handling configuration used for sending non-prioritized IP packets. Various embodiments may further enable uplink (UL) data prioritization of IP packets.

  • Patent number: 10384775
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems of various embodiments are disclosed for managing a vehicle charging station having a docking terminal. In various embodiments, a priority of a first autonomous vehicle and a second autonomous vehicle may be determined for using the docking terminal when a docking request is received from the second autonomous vehicle while the first autonomous vehicle occupies the docking terminal. In some embodiments, the priorities of the first and second autonomous vehicles may be based on an available power level of each of the first and second autonomous vehicles. The first autonomous vehicle may be instructed to undock from the docking terminal in response to determining that the second autonomous vehicle has a higher priority.

  • Patent number: 10364025
Abstract: Methods, devices, and systems of various embodiments are disclosed for managing an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). In various embodiments, the UAV may charge an onboard battery while docked at a docking terminal of a charging station. The UAV may receive a message from the charging station with an instruction to undock from the docking terminal. The UAV may undock from the docking terminal before charging of the onboard battery is complete in response to receiving the message from the charging station with the instruction to undock.

  • Patent number: 9713066
Abstract: In one aspect, mobile access point devices may provide client devices access to an internet service provider. The mobile access point may communicate with the internet service provider via a cellular connection or a Wi-Fi connection. As the Wi-Fi connection may cause data service access failures due to, for example, firewalls, protocol limitations, or application layer gateways, allowing the mobile access point device to dynamically determine which mode of communication will reach the internet service provider can ensure more efficient service provisioning to the client devices. Packet filters may be maintained at the mobile access point device which identify which connections should be established via cellular and which should be established via Wi-Fi.
