Abstract: A system for determining scroll direction intent may include one or more processors and a memory. The one or more processors may receive first and second ordered pairs of coordinates of a scroll event. The one or more processors may construct a square that has a first vertex at the first ordered pair of coordinates and an opposite vertex at a third ordered pair of coordinates for which each coordinate has an absolute value that is equal to a maximum absolute coordinate value of the second ordered pair of coordinates, where the signs of the coordinates of the third ordered pair are equivalent to the signs of the corresponding coordinates of the second ordered pair. The one or more processors may determine an intended scroll direction of the scroll event based at least partially on the constructed square and the first and second ordered pair of coordinates.

Abstract: Systems and methods for displaying a suggested query completion in a web browser window while providing for display a first webpage within a webpage display region of the web browser window are provided. A method includes, receiving an initiation of a query within an input box in a control region of the web browser window. The method also includes providing for display a dropdown region within the web browser window in response to the initiation of the query. The dropdown region includes suggested completions to the initiation of the query. At least one of the suggested completions is associated with a second webpage. The method also includes providing for display a webpage preview of the second webpage within the dropdown region.

The technique includes receiving a transaction card data from a terminal over a communication channel on presentation of a transaction card at the terminal, performing an authentication of the transaction card data, sending a promotional data containing one or more promotions to the terminal over the communication channel, and writing the promotional data on the transaction card via a card read/write device.
